Walkthroughs, Screenshots, Photos & General HELP!
The goal of Best Tech Site is to bring high quality screenshots, progressions, photos and walkthroughs of popular software and general PC help. This is going to take time and diligence as I am only one guy. I can't cover it all, so you won't find it all here; just my little piece of the puzzle.
Progressive screenshots in a way emulate the software interface; you can see where buttons and tabs lead, helping you navigate or guide others through the software without having the actual software on your machine. As a tech support professional, I have found help like this to be invaluable.
Walkthroughs
Have you ever tried to remember the steps to change an email account
in Outlook Express when you currently use Thunderbird? Well, now you
can click the tabs in my progressions without the need for the
actual software.
Some walkthroughs are very simple too; just a few lines of instruction will have you on your way.
Photos
Wouldn't it be nice to have a large, high-quality photo of that
motherboard with all of the hardware and components (what is that
jumper for?) labeled with popup tips? That is another project I have
planned. Obviously, I cannot do all motherboards, but I will do my
best to get a good selection. Many manufacturers don't like there
photography being used or their photography is not of the best
quality, but I plan on either getting specific permissions or
photographing them myself.
